About Us

St. Louis Core has its Roots in Downtown
St. Louis Core was modeled after a bi-weekly downtown based paper that existed about 9 years ago. The paper was designed to promote the positive aspects of downtown and downtown living. Lewis Reed, was a fan of the paper and appreciated what the owners (Mark Phillips & Gary Bill) did to promote our city and metro area.
We chose to name our site www.stlouiscore.com not only to keep the tradition set by Mark and Gary, but also to highlight some of the positive aspects of our city while providing the people in the city and region with information related to the city and our communities.
Overview of St. Louis Core
Board President Lewis Reed self funded and designed St. Louis Core to be a community based, open forum to share ideas and keep the community up to date on things happening in our city. The community, businesses, office holders, and people of St. Louis are encouraged to get involved in St. Louis Core and add their perspective about what is happening in the community. To keep focused on the assets, challenges and issues in our community politics and personal attacks will not be allowed under any circumstances.
