On Earth Day: Keeping Up With ‘Green’ Bills

Green efforts are really important to the St. Louis region. Whether it is air pollution reduction, recycling or public transportation all of these have an impact on our quality of life.
The Missouri Recycling Association does a really nice job tracking ‘green’ bills in Jefferson City. This session has seen a number of bills that would help improve our environment and a few that would set us further back.
Looking at the legislation, a lot of environmental bills didn’t seem to get much traction, especially in the House. There are a few bills though that the Missouri Recycling Association support that look interesting and may be worth following through the remaining part of this legislative session. These bills are after the fold.
