Luvy Duvy’s Deli A Benton Park Hit

Luvy Duvy’s Deli opened in 2007 on the corner of Arsenal and Jefferson in the Benton Park neighborhood. Partners and owners, Cassady Caldwell and Jackie Seal know how to please their customers.Jerome Murry, a regular at the deli said, “the owners and staff are phenomenal. They make you feel right at home”. It’s not just the good food people are looking for at Luvy Duvy’s it’s that “at home” feeling. The environment inside is fun and inviting.
The menu is simple, nothing fancy, but the food is outstanding. I read one review that described the burger as “one of, if not the best burger in St. Louis”, so I encouraged my friend Jerome to order it. He agreed with the review and said the flavor of the hamburger was outstanding.
I asked our waitress what sandwich on the menu was most popular, and she suggested I try the Cuban. OMG! The sweet roasted Cuban pork, swiss cheese, ham and pickles on a sweet buttery roll was excellent.
Breakfast is served at Luvy Duvy’s from 7 a.m.-11 a.m and all day on Saturdays. They have a drink menu with a full bar, so you can enjoy a Bloody Mary with breakfast if you choose. The specialty drinks are fun, fruity, and juicy. May I suggest the Caribbean Ice Tea or the Funky Monkey, both are lip-smacking good!
There is a small patio area for when the weather is nice. I look forward to going back this spring to check it out and try the chicken salad sandwich. I heard it is delicious with just the right amount of nuts and grapes.
Luvy Duvy’s also has freshly “made at home” desserts. The menu has variety and the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. If your regular lunch spots are getting a bit tiresome, come on down to Luvy Duvy’s in Benton Park and enjoy a great meal with super friendly service.

Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
