Welcome Alan Freeman
Alan Freeman, President and CEO, of Grace Hill Health Centers was recently appointmented as Director of the Missouri Department of Social Services by Governor Jay Nixon.

During his six year tenure as President and CEO of GHHC, Mr. Freeman led a successful era for Grace Hill Health Centers.

Highlights during Freeman’s leadership include increasing patient access to services from 36,000 patients in 2006 to over 49,000 individual patients in 2012.

The upgrade of four health center locations to state of the art facilities; full implementation of Electronic Health Records; initiating provision of X-Ray and Mammography services at three locations (start date scheduled for Spring 2013); a number of administrative and patient service improvements resulting in Joint Commission re-accreditation and excellent reviews and accolades by the Health Resources and Services Administration and other regulatory entities.

A roadmap of strategic initiatives to help GHHC as health care reform takes shape under the Affordable Care Act.
A visionary and strategic leader with a strong charge to provide exceptional customer service, attract and retain the highest quality of mission-driven providers, and to develop key partnerships with local education and health care leaders, Alan Freeman’s legacy of growth, innovation and collaboration served GHHC as one of the largest providers of the health care safety net in St. Louis.
