This past week the Board of Aldermen held their weekly meeting, presided by Lewis Reed, President of the Board of Aldermen.

The prayer was said by Rev. John Watson jr. of Maple Temple Church of God in Christ which is located in the 26th Ward.

Special Recognition
The Board of Aldermen from time to time stop in their deliberations to recognize citizens or groups for their outstanding contributions to the betterment, of not only the City of St. Louis, but of the entire region.
The Board of Aldermen pause to recognize the many accomplishments of Ray A. Coleman.

Ray is a government affairs and political consultant. He is the author of The Obama Phenomenon, “Yes We Can! Be a Barack” a Spiritual Perspective.
Ray is currently working on his second book, “Have God Will Travel; a spiritual Journey the Ray Coleman Story”.

Ray worked as a Deputy Field Organizer for the 2012 Obama Presidential Campaign in South Central Iowa.

City as a redevelopment area know as the St. Louis Innovation
District Redevelopment Area; containing a severability clause.
B.B.#281CS – Roddy – An ordinance affirming adoption of a redevelopment plan, redevelopment area and redevelopment project; between the City and St. Louis Innovation District; containing a severability clause.
B.B.#261 – Kennedy – An ordinance recommended by the Airport
Commission and the Board of Estimate and Apportionment
repealing certain ordinances pertaining to the regulation of and
schedule of fees and charges for ground transportation operators;
containing a severability and an emergency clause.
B.B.#262 – Kennedy – An ordinance authorizing and directing the
issuance by the City of its Airport Revenue Refunding Bonds,
Series 2013, Lambert Airport, in an aggregate principal amount
not to exceed Thirty-Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand
Dollars; containing a severability clause.
B.B.#263 – Kennedy – An ordinance recommended and approved by the Airport Commission, The Comptroller and the Board of
Estimate and Apportionment, to transfer of up to Thirteen Million Seven Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-Nine Dollars of excess moneys that the City intends to transfer from the Debt Service Stabilization Fund to the Airport Revenue Fund; containing a severability and an emergency clause.

directing the Director of Airports and the Comptroller to enter
into and execute, Lease Agreement AL-226, between the City and Jet Linx St. Louis, containing a severability and an emergency clause.
B.B.#276 – Kennedy – An ordinance recommended and approved by the Board of Estimate and Apportionment authorizing and directing the Director of Airports and the Comptroller to enter into and execute, the Lambert Airport Lease Agreement AL-230
between the City and Laclede Venture Corp; containing a severability clause and an emergency clause.
B.B.#277 – Kennedy – An ordinance recommended by the Board of
Estimate and Apportionment authorizing and directing the
Director of Airports and the Comptroller to enter into and execute
Modification No. 4 to the Lambert Airport Land Lease between
the City and the United States of America; containing an
emergency clause.
These bills as required by ordinance were signed by President of the Board Lewis E. Reed and now are waiting the Mayor’s approval or veto.
Seeing that no further business before the Board of Aldermen, President Lewis Reed adjourned the Board of Aldermen meeting until Friday, 2013 at 10:00.
