Wow SLU Gives Butler Beat Down

The St. Louis University’s  Billikens defense welcomed #9 ranked Butler Bulldogs to a packed White out Nite Chaifetz arena and as Muhammad Ali would say “shock and amaze” them by forcing 23 turnovers while shooting 50% from the floor. This is their first top 10 rank win since they beat down  #2 Louisville in 2003. Beating Butler at home was the first time in the new arena that Slu beat a top 10 and hopefully wont be the last.

Interim SLU coach Jim Crews deservingly needs the interim dropped off the title as the skill set has come from one of the masters in college basketball, Rick Majerus would be proud.

Finishing the game 75 – 58 Slu recognizes this as a big win and looks to continue on. Good Luck Bills.
