Friday April 5th I represented President Lewis Reed at the St. Louis area Catholic Charities Legislative Breakfast. In addition I am on the Board of Directors of St. Patrick Center.

Representative Jacob W. Hummel, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis City (District 81) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

Rep. Michael Butler, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis City (District 79) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2012.

The Missouri Legislature began their session earlier this month and Senator Keaveny has filed several pieces of legislation. Wednesday, January 9th the Missouri Legislative begins their legislative session.

Rep. Kratky provided this information because she knows how important an informed citizenry is to the election process. Missouri voters will have the opportunity in November to vote on four ballot issues that address issues ranging from the amount of tax collected on cigarette sales to the way our Supreme Court judges are selected.
