The newest member of the Board of Aldermen is Tammika Hubbard who was elected to fill Alderwoman April Ford Griffins position after she resigned to accept a position to become Director of the St. Louis City Civil Rights Enforcement Commission.

Members of the Missouri House gave first-round approval Tuesday night to the 13 appropriations bills that make up the state’s fiscal year 2013 operating budget. The bills make up a total operating budget of approximately $24 billion.

Clint Zweifel was elected as State Treasurer of Missouri on November 4, 2008 and was sworn into office on January 12, 2009, succeeding Republican Sarah Steelman.
